EAWD Congress 2022 - A look back
Exciting, impressive and connecting - that was the EAWD Congress 2022.
Under the motto „The smart powertrain: a new era of eAWD performance“, specialists from automobile manufacturers, suppliers and universities met on June 1 and 2, 2022 at the Electrification & All-Wheel Drive Congress in Graz and Spielberg. The conference focused on modern eAWD solutions, operating strategies of eAWD vehicles and a look into the future of all-wheel drive.
We spent two inspiring days at two very different venues with many inspiring presentations, intensive discussions and exciting test drives.
The first Congress day and the accompanying exhibition took place in the historic Seifenfabrik in Graz with the evening event in the Old University of Graz offering the participants an excellent environment for professional exchange and networking.
Day two took place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Not only were there exciting presentations, but the Ride&Drives on the off-road track were an absolute must. A special highlight was the vehicle presentation of the historic Lotus 56, turbine-powered AWD Formula 1 race car.
